Sr. processengineer-assembly

Duties and Responsibilities:

‐  Analyzes SiliconMicrophone problems, product rejects and coordinates the implementation of thesolutions to production problems; publishing engineering and reject analysisreports, mainly working in all assembly Area.

‐  Maintains prints,engineering specifications, Bill of materials, routings, and operationalstandards in Assy Area.

‐  Initiates,evaluates and documents trials on products.

‐  Initiates andimplements cost reduction ideas, product changes and redesigned products;issues appropriate specifications and coordinates special feasibility projects.

‐  Assists Marketingand Quality Assurance in solving customer complaints regarding productproblems.

‐  Assists in thedesign, prototyping, and qualification of new test and production systems.

‐  Assists intransferring of Silicon Microphone processes to our subcontract manufacturers.

‐  Trains subcontractmanufactures on new products, production methods, and equipment. Also providesguidance and training to new & inexperienced engineers.

‐  Occasional travelis required to our subcontract manufacturers both locally and overseas.

Requirements:

‐  Bachelor degree inMechanical, Electrical Engineering, Chemical, Material Engineering orequivalent.

‐  Five years minimumexperience in Process Engineering in Semiconductor Assembly House Assyarea. Dispensing epoxy, dispensing solder experience is preferred.

‐  Requires aself-motivated individual that has the ability to manage complex projects andprocesses.  

‐  The candidate shoulddemonstrate the ability to establish processes and process controls usingstatistical methods.

‐  Personal computerskills are required, and knowledge of associated applications such as wordprocessors, spreadsheets, databases and project planning software is necessary.

‐  Proficient/Fluentin English, Mandarin languages required.
