职位描述：

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Contribute to embeddedsoftware development in one or multiple of the following areas:

1) Linux or Androidbased system driver development, Bootloader, and other IO driver(HDMI/USB/ETHERNET/SDRAM/FLASH/UART/Frontpanel etc).

2) Multi-format audioand video decoder, demultiplexer, graphics. CA system, USB device driver,network or other third part protocol stack integration.

Tasks will include:

1) Developingpre-tapeout software verification test cases.

2) Software design andreview. Software programming and review.

3) Software test planand test module development.

4) Software debug.

5) Customer requirementanalysis and customer support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Senior levelpositions require minimum 3 years of experience in embedded softwaredevelopment.New graduates will be considered for entry level positions, whileproduction software development experience is still preferred.

2) Bachelor or Masterdegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

3) Solid C/C++programming skill.

4) Good communicationskill, team work spirit, self-motivated.

5) Good Englishwriting and reading skills.

Experience/Skill/Knowledgein multiple of the following areas is preferred:

1) STB/DTV IC andsystem industry experience. Multi-media IC and system industry experience.

2) Assemblerprogramming, especially with MIPS or ARM ISA.

3) Embedded softwareenvironment debug tools.

4) Development ofLinux kernel for MIPS-based embedded system.

5) Bootloader/BSPdevelopment.

6) Driver developmentof HDMI, USB, and Ethernet. Various video formats, MPEG2, H.264, AVS, andvarious audio formats, MPEG1/2/3, AC3, etc.

7) Common STB/DTVindustry specs and protocols, in DVB-S, DVB-T, DVB-C, IPTV markets.

8) Knowledge ofMFC/STL/Script/Java language.

9) Embedded GUIdevelopment and graphic processing tools such as PhotoShop. Software versioncontrol system such as clearcase, CVS, mercurial.

10) Bug trackingsystem such as Bugzilla and ClearQuest.
