The purpose of this report is to show the performance of the Sarantel GPS antenna (in this case assembled as the SmartAntenna F02) when placed inside a vehicle in various positions in both urban and rural locations. The results show that even when the antenna is placed in the vehicle footwell a minimum of 7 satellites can be tracked. This shows that the Sarantel GPS antenna is suitable for integration within a vehicle, removing the need to externally cable a GPS antenna.
