It is based on Microchips PIC® MCUs with XLP Technology and Cymbets EVAL-08 Solar Energy Harvester. This kit comes complete with the PICkit 3 Programmer/Debugger, XLP 16-bit Development Board, cabling, and Energy Harvester. Energy-aware software communicates the state of charge for the kit via a PC, easing the task of Energy balancing, a key element to Energy Harvesting. The kit can be deployed in the intended environment and its performance monitored.
