The system demonstrates the simplicity of monitoring four pins configured as inputs and applying a predetermined pattern on LEDs connected to the remaining 12 pins configured as outputs.Features:

       

• Demonstrates the MCP23X17 devices in a simple I/O application       
  
• ICSP header for the PICmicro allows users to customize firmware to further evaluate the MCP23X17       
  
• Jumpers and headers allow the MCP23X17 to connect directly to custom applications for prototype work       
  
• Can be powered from a 3.0V to 5V DC power source (connected to the +5V and GND test points)
