Bitcoins on a Raspberry Pi
I've had my Raspberry Pi for a couple weeks now, and my original intention was always to put a Bitcoin wallet of some sort onto it. So this afternoon I got the Pi up and running, and successfully installed the Electrum client. I'm not sure if it would be possible to run the Qt client due to the high cpu/disk usage during the block chain download, but if someone thinks otherwise let me know.
I'd like to know what everyone thinks about this, and am open to suggestions for software to test or try and run on the Pi, and just any other general thoughts and ideas.
I think that a Raspberry Pi coupled with Bitcoin is a big step forward, and could possibly open up Bitcoin to a much wider audience. It really is a wallet sized computer.
Also, the Pi's balance is, as you can see, still 0BTC, so if someone would like to send a Satoshi to put the Pi wallet to work you can -> 1CSdWF2KqcPsopg3L3ArSDGp2aw32QhxnB
